This course will introduce the various topics in Cognitive Science. The major topics to be included will be Knowledge Representation, Artificial Intelligence, Language Acquisition, Memory, Attention, Visual Perception, and etc. The course will consist of lecturing and discussing recent research articles and chapters from the above areas. There will be student presentations by group and mid & final-term exam (exams could be replaced by group projects).

The goal of this class is to understand information processing in Vision. We`ll use the results from neuroscience, psychophysics, and simulation to understand visual processing. We`re going to use not only the results from various theories but also do the simulation by ourselves.
